CARS was established in 1992 to provide tools, support and savings programs that allow auto shops to increase overall profitability. The CARS Cooperative brings shops together with vendors and suppliers to gain discounts, cash-back rewards and training on products and services necessary to maintain a successful business. CARS currently works with nearly 1500+ shops in 35 states.
“A member of AASP-IL has full eligibility and access to all of our programs as long as they are in good standing with the Association,” explains CARS Executive Director Matt H. Boyles, PhD. “Independent shops make their own decisions whether they participate in our programs or not and can do so without disrupting their current jobber/supplier relationships. Unlike some other groups, we have no strings attached that require use of any products – it’s all about options and opportunities.”
